My Amaryllis is now two years old.

Photos were taken of the blooming process.

This oil painting Budding Out Party is

the beginning of the seasonal blooms.

The first in a series of three framed

oil paintings of my amaryllis.

The second painting shows the frame style

used for all three images.

The focus of these paintings is

the sunlight from my window

on and through the pedals.

It is a play with sunlight.

Image size: 8 x 10"
