Mary Dove_Texas High Country Overlook

This painting was designed from one of my Texas photographs.

Starting college as an architect major, I have a love for building structures

especially those with a life experience story to tell.

My 1/3 – 2/3 design format allowed me to balance the lower portion

of the painting with the detailed upper 1/3 structure area.

As with my painting style, many glazes (a thin application of paint)

were applied to achieve the desired effect.
